It's a pleasure to welcome you to Lotty B Dance! I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful job, inspiring others to have the same passion for dance as I have. As a teacher I strive to provide fun, engaging and rewarding lessons for my dancers. Find more of my story below!

About

I'm so lucky to have found my love for dance at a young age, since then it has played a huge role in my life. This passion is why I love to teach and I'm so grateful to have what I consider to be; the best job in the world.

I love nothing more than to inspire every student who walks into Lotty B Dance to love and appreciate dance the same way as I do and to witness the joy as they master each step. My belief on teaching is that every student who is willing to learn has the ability to achieve.

I strive for Lotty B Dance to be a place where every dancer can reach their full potential in an encouraging and friendly atmosphere.

My Experience

From the age of two I trained at my local dance school, whilst also participating in various associate programmes and events including The Hammond Associates, Tap Attack Associates and English Youth Ballet, further developing my skills and love for dance.

I then attended dance college to train as an ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) teacher. I completed my ISTD teacher training at North Liverpool Dance Academy whilst also undertaking teacher training with the RAD (Royal Academy Of Dance).

I qualified in;

ISTD DDE Imperial Classical Ballet, Tap and Modern Theatre

ISTD New Contemporary Syllabus

RAD Registered Teacher Status via the CBTS programme

I strive to ensure my knowledge is up to date by attending regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses and since completing teacher training have further developed my qualifications through ;

Gaining RAD Silver Swans License

Training in new ISTD Contemporary Syllabus

Becoming a PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique) Certified Teacher

I also hold Paediatric First Aid, Emergency First Aid At Work + AED, Safeguarding Children (Advanced) Level 2, Enhanced DBS and a Chaperones License.
